Plantable wedding invitations: a guide for Pakistan

Plantable wedding invitations are seed-paper cards with real seeds pressed into the pulp. After the wedding, guests plant the card in soil, water it, and it grows into flowers or herbs. The keepsake becomes something that blooms.

Why plantable wedding invitations?

Most invitations are cleared away the day after the event. Plantable invitations stay. Guests plant them, photograph the results and often share them weeks later, so the wedding keeps showing up long after the day.

They also photograph beautifully. The natural, handmade texture of seed paper reads very differently from glossy cardstock, and it suits modern wedding aesthetics.

What can you customize?

At Boxit, every wedding invitation is fully custom:

  • Design and print: your artwork, fonts, colors, names and date
  • Size and format: standard cards, folded cards, booklet-style
  • Seed selection: wildflower, marigold, basil, coriander and more
  • Matching set: matching envelopes, RSVP cards, tags and favor bags
  • Language: Urdu, English or both

What is the minimum order quantity?

We recommend from 100 invitation sets for weddings. Smaller quantities are possible for intimate events.

What is the lead time?

Design approval to delivery: 10–15 working days. Plan ahead, especially for peak wedding season.

How do guests plant the invitation?

They tear it into small pieces, cover with a thin layer of soil, water lightly, and place it in sunlight. A full planting guide is printed on the card or the envelope.
