Can seed paper be printed on?
Yes. You can print logos, brand colors, text and designs on seed paper. The surface is textured and handmade, so results look best with bold, clear artwork rather than fine gradients or very small type. We will advise the right approach for your design.
Which printing methods work?
- Digital and screen printing work well for most cards, tags and inserts.
- Embossing and letterpress suit business cards and invitations.
- Heavy ink coverage across the whole sheet is best avoided, because it can affect how the paper plants. We balance branding with plantability.
Can it be folded?
Yes, at the right GSM. Thinner stock folds cleanly for cards and invitations. Thicker stock is better left flat for tags and coasters. Scoring before folding gives the cleanest result.
Can it be die-cut to shape?
Yes. Seed paper can be cut into custom shapes: tags, coasters, pennants, rounded cards and more. Intricate cuts are possible, though very fine detail is limited by the handmade texture.
