Plantable paper is a good material, but a material on its own is not a campaign. Here is a simple framework for building a CSR campaign around it that actually lands.
1. Start with the message, not the product
What is the campaign saying? "Growth," "renewal," "we give back," "green start to the year"? The seed-paper product should make that message physical. A New Year campaign pairs naturally with a plantable calendar. An employee-appreciation push pairs with a plantable card.
2. Choose the right format for the audience
- Employees: something they keep and use, like calendars, diaries or desk coasters.
- Clients and partners: gift boxes or branded cards.
- Public and event audiences: seed balls and giveaways that are simple and fun to plant.
3. Make the action obvious
The campaign only works if people plant the item. Print a short planting guide directly on the product and tie it to a call to action: "plant it, share a photo, tag us." That turns a one-way giveaway into earned social reach.
4. Plan the logistics early
Bulk plantable production has lead times (typically 10–15 working days for branded corporate items after design approval). Lock your quantity, design and delivery date early, especially around year-end when demand peaks.
5. Capture the proof
The most valuable output of a plantable CSR campaign is the germination photos recipients post themselves. Encourage it, collect it, and use it in your next sustainability report.
